1930 – 2009 Stanley Park

The RNLI sold the boat in 1930 for £70 to Blackpool Corporation, shortly after it entered service on the lake as the pleasure craft Samuel Fletcher

Stanley Park had been opened 4 years earlier by Lord Derby, K,G on 02 October 1926. The boating lake alone covers 26.5 acres.

The pleasure craft was the former Blackpool lifeboat Samuel Fletcher.
